Jon Miller

From Mobile, Alabama, Songwriter and Performer Jon Miller has been steadily trailblazing a new style of positive country music that is undeniably his own. Jon is also a visionary documentary filmmaker, covering subjects untouched by others.

• n 2008 Jon had his first taste of chart success with “Choice,” which became a #2 song on the Country Christian Weekly Charts for Danny Ray Harris. That song was also nominated for Song of the Year in the Inspirational Country Music Awards.
• 2008 also saw Jon selected as a finalist in CMT.com's Music City Madness with his song "Let Me," which was also nominated for Country Song of the Year in the 2009 International Just Plain Folks Awards.
• He continues to work and play with his band, Jon Miller and the Country Casuals, which has opened shows for nationally-known artists, including Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, and Josh Turner.
• As a filmmaker, his “Tapestry” received an Honorable Mention for Best Music Video in the 2013 Posi Music Awards.
• 2013 also saw the release of his full-length documentary, What is New Thought? which had its west coast premiere at that year’s New Thought Music Festival right here.  Since then, that film has been used in many new thought centers as part of the training for practitioners and ministers.
• n 2014, Jon began hosting and producing an internet talk show featuring up-and-coming country music artists called Country Twang, which can be found at countrytwang.com
• Another Miller production (with some help from his wife Tiffany) is his  beautiful baby girl, Riley.
• Jon has a new documentary to share with us, A New Thought-A New You, which he will be sharing with us immediately following today’s service.
• On the strength of the message in his music and his filmmaking, Jon has been asked to speak at New Thought Centers, Churches, Conferences, and Conventions around the country.
• With his unique blending of New Thought concepts into media forms where they had not been explored before, Jon is carrying a positive message to a whole new audience.
